Schools
Once again in 2004, the Festival is lining up initiatives thought
up especially for schools: besides taking part in hands-on exhibitions
and didactic workshops, schools will be able to join the Friends
of the Festival network, display the projects carried out in
their schools, adopt an exhibition or a lecture and use the
Festival for training teachers and heads of studies.
The
programme this year also includes two international projects:
the Aesotope project will bring 50 secondary
school children from 15 European and 10 Asian countries to Genoa,
and the Esciential project, financed under
the VI framework programme of the European Community, enables
the Festival to host exhibitions and didactic and hands-on workshops
set up by science centres and international institutes such
as: Museo de la Ciencia Fundación "la Caixa"
in Barcelona
(Spain), Institut Non Lineaire de Nice - CNRS in Valbonne (France),
Techniquest Enterprises Ltd in Cardiff (Great Britain), Tehniski
Muzej Slovenije in Ljubljana (Slovenia).

Festival
for schools
The Festival della Scienza welcomes schools and makes
young people its protagonists. If you are a teacher and
you would like to bring your classes to the Festival,
tell your students about it or spread the word in your
school, fill in the subscription
form. We will e-mail you all the news concerning the
initiatives for schools and, in September, the complete
Festival programme.
